Even though the United Artists logo has left the James Bond franchise, the same action and adventure has not. The World is Not Enough, the 19th official Bond film, is a worthy competitor to any of its predecessors. Pierce Brosnan reprises his role as Bond, and he continues to get better in the role. I thought he was good in Goldeneye (his first Bond film), but he's been better in both the following two). Robert Carlyle (The Full Monty) is Renard, a bad guy who cannot feel pain. And the Bond girls are Sophie Marceau as Elektra King and Denise Richards as the most attractive nuclear scientist ever, Christmas Jones. Full movie review »
