Ever After: A Cinderella Story Review
Drew Barrymore has gone a long way since her role in the legendary E.T.. She is definitely no longer a little girl; in Ever After, contrary to most other Cinderella stories, she plays a strong and intellectual woman who is independent and not afraid to stand up for herself. But even confident in herself, her character also has a soft spot, which leaves her open to the ridicule of her wicked, and I mean wicked, stepmother, Angelica Huston.
Ever After has excellent acting, a superb class, and features an exceptional twist on the story of Cinderella. Visuals and cinematics breathtaking, and the scenery beautiful, Ever After will become an instant favorite among women. As for men, it won't be quite as charming, but will still impress. Ever After was extremely well done and features Drew Barrymore at her absolute best. Men will like it, women will like it even more.
